A blonde walked into a bank in New York City and sat down with a loan officer. She tells him she is going on a trip out of the country and needs a loan of $5000. The loan officer agrees but says he needs some collateral for the loan. The blonde says she'll put her car up for collateral, the loan officer agrees and she hands him the keys.

He walks outside to find that her car is a Rolls Royce convertible worth nearly $250,000. He and the other bank employees laugh as they park the car in the bank's underground garage.

Two weeks later the blonde returns to pay off the loan and the interest, which came to a total of about $26.75. The loan officer gladly takes the money but asks her, “Ma'am we've all been wondering why exactly you took this loan out. We did some background checks on you and discovered that you're worth almost two million dollars. Why did you take out this loan for $5000 and put up this $250,000 car for collateral?”

The blonde smiles and replies, “Where else could I park my car safely for two weeks for only $26.75?”
