A while back, Clark gave an update on it, and said that while the calls sounded fine to him, the people at the other end were not as thrilled with the call quality.

The key point he made was that it largely depends on the *immediate* quality of your internet connection. If you have a fantastic connection, the voice quality is good; if your connection sputters for a moment, your voice quality will be terrible.

Further, from the reviews I have seen, the overall voice quality is below that of Skype. Not better as the OP has been made to believe.
