A win in baseball is worth about $5 million.

Kershaw wins five or six more games a year than the average pitcher, so you could say he's worth $25-$30 million more a year than the average pitcher, right now and for the next five-to-seven years, barring injury. (His WAR may go down, but the dollar-value of a win will increase.) So $30 million x7 is about right.
