Abe, could you check out the German link at the bottom and see what it says and if these stats are worth anything?-silencerhttp://www.fes.de/rechtsextremismus/pdf/Vom_Rand_zur_Mitte.pdfThe link goes to a 180-page long complex sociological study. Whatever the findings might be, it does nowhere say that the German population "still yearns to be a world power run by a dictatorship", as the Arutz Sheva headline extrapolates from some rather minoritary positions among the German population. Obviously xenophobia exists in Germany, as in most - or all - occidental societies. This is probably a consequence of a deteriorating economic situation and massive immigration. Antisemitism exists in Germany, as well, just as in most - or all - occidental societies. But: these are very minoritary positions in Germany. Personally, I don't know any German who yearns for the country to be a world power run by a dictatorship. That's just plain ridiculous. I'd say a huge majority of Germans have a deep distrust for the miliary and would like German troops to be withdrawn from all those out-of-area missions that were unthinkable just 15 years ago.Abe
