About 2 years ago, I bought into a long term bond fund.

Then, somebody died leaving my Church a large endowment
and I was asked to be on the investment committee.

While reviewing performance of various bond classes, I realized that 2011 was one of the better years for long term bonds and do not believe such performance will be repeated this year.

So, I advised my church to put 75% in short term bonds until the
next apocalypse. The other 25% will be going into Vanguard Wellington.
