About the only thing one can say about "climate scientists" in general is that they have gotten the sign right. Just about every prediction regarding magnitude has been wrong.Just about every "solution" has been based on fallacy. So long as India and China choose to industrialize by building coal-fired power plants (China alone brings one online every week), CO2 is going to increase. This was the flaw of the Kyoto agreement, and nothing appears to be changing it.Be that as it may, global temps have essentially plateaued over the last 15 years. My calcs based on NOAA data show the 5-year average increasing at a rate of .6C per century (about the rate seen in the 20th century) and decellerating.Circling back to the OP, when someone says they are Welcoming Climate Skeptics Back to Science the only thing I can do is shake my head and say, "Dude, learn some statistics and then we'll talk."
