Well, I'm going to do it. In January I'll retire at 54 1/2. Going to draw from my IRA under Section 72(t) and will receive a pension at 55.

All the projections say I'll be fine barring a market decline like the early 70's, which took 9 years to recover. Still feel like a guy jumping out of an airplane though -- excited but a bit worried whether the parachute will open.

Any words of wisdom or encouragement?
