Actually, I happen to know someone whose company is paying the big bucks (well over $5k a year) for his MBA, so...

My company also has the $5k limit, and whether it is taxable to you depends on whether the course is job-related (what you are doing know)versus career-related (what you could do in the future, and even that has to be something realistically within the company). As always, YMMV.
