Actually, that does help. We don't budget for clothes every month, I guess I had always figured that would be something I paid off on the credit card.

So since I've been able to pay down the CC while still saving something, I guess thats my victory right there. The fact that the balance isn't going away as fast as I thought is likely because some of the money that I've been saving should have been going to pay off the clothing allotment, which is ending up on the CC. ok, got it.
