After much lurking, I felt I had to reply to this:

One of my assignments many years ago was Database Administrator--when no one knew what that meant. It was a natural fit, and I told my boss I was having so much fun I would do that job with out being paid <grin>. He scowled to me and told me that I shouldn't be having fun "....after all, that is why it is called work!"

With that official attitude, it is not surprising that I measured the time until I could afford to retire "early". And the rest of this message should go to the LBMM board, but I agree with the person who suggested that it is living with what you have rather than looking for more that makes one successful.
