After sending written confirmation that moi wass not the checkwriter in question-and that I'd never banked with Norwest, etc.-

I haven't opened a checking account in YEARS, but when my Mom went in to open just a savings account they made a photo copy of her drivers license. Can you go to the bank that opened the account and get a copy of the information they gave to open the account? Also, I thought the idea of reporting this to the police was so THEY could open an investigation.

Good Luck....Sounds like a real mess.
