After using CPAP I've needed less sleep. Always woke up tired. Now its better. A fews months ago found out I had severe apnea. Probably had it for over 10 years. It probably contributed heavily to my enlarged heart and heart failure. The oxygen deprivation was probably slowly killing my brain cells and memory.

Anyways, I would encourage any of you who may snore or feel tired after waking to do an overnight sleep study. They're normally covered by insurance. You go into the clinic at 8 pm or so then leave the next day by 7 am or so. Like a stay overnight at a hotel. It shouldn't affect work. It took a little while but the cpap has given more energy. And my heart and brain ain't slowly dyin either. Sleep apnea is a far more common ailment than people realize.
