thanks in advance for your time and consideration, truly.

details: i am a beginning investor (age 30) with a roth ira account @ schwab ($3k and maxing monthly in SWEGX, all equity asset allocation multi-index) and $5k poised to enter the realm of other-than-ira-personal-investing.

i'd like to become more aggressive after witnessing 6 month returns of ~25% from QQQ compared to <3% from SWEGX. i've also recieved advise from older and wiser (read: foolish) friends that i should be much more aggressive at this early stage.

sought: advice and opinions re schwab vs other brokers (satisfaction factor and bottom line) and prescribed port % allocations in indexes (by name)/UITs (name)/stocks (name and/or sector) to help me become more aggressive.

i figure i've asked for alot. i appreciate everything, especially the prior months' postings here. if there is a more appropriate board, please refer me...

-bk
