When someone mentions credit cards, the first thought that comes to my mind is the sheer number of offers I get in the mail every week. Companies who have no idea of my financial situation are offering me "pre-approved" platinum cards. IK can get cards with my favorite football team, NASCAR driver, or mail order catalog on them. I can get cards that give me frequent flier miles or dollar credits toward a new car. I can get cards that donate money to Ducks Unlimited every time I use them. I can think of no other business that markets in this way. Thankfully, however, they do not call me at home during dinner.
