Dear smart, patient, kind, and informative TMF Pixy,

I have looked at maybe 100 postings in this folder and did not find the answers to the following probably-FAQ's.

Can you please summarize for lazy me the IRS rules on contributions to self-managed IRA's, Roth and non-Roth. I think some of the reg's are dependent upon the availability of a 401(k) plan, and I contribute to one, with no matching. Also, does the availability of a 401(k) plan to me affect the options available to my spouse?
