^^^^Agreed. However, we always seem to be like worn out, unhealthy, puny sick dudes. Excuses, excuses. . . .Yep that's an excuse. Especially since so many foods can be prepped early then when you get home from work. Meatloaf: uncooked can sit in your fridge (covered in saran wrap) for 24 hours. Someone can get it mixed in the morning while making coffee and stick in the the fridge. First person home puts it in the oven and starts some wild rice on the stove. Costco has good frozen sirloin burgers. Your oldest kids could safely throw a few on a Foreman grill.Put beans on to soak the night before. In the morning you can start navy beans, chili, etc in the crock-pot. When you get home you have dinner ready to go. There are also great recipes for chicken & dumplings, beef stew, and other dishes for the crock-pot. If your wife is home periodically during the day you can select the faster cooking times (start something at noon to finish in time for dinner). Make pancakes, waffles, and muffins in advance. Freeze/refrigerate the extra. Breakfast and school lunches solved.Lara Amber
