Agreed. The war has not ended this problem. If anything it has made it worse. You can be sure that any country that is not directly involved in eliminating all of terrorism is directly supporting or conveniently ignoring some terror group that is fighting a proxy war on its behalf.The real attack, and/or blackmail, we have to worry about is a 'good' dirty bomb in the right place, e.g. lower Manhattan, that will make the area unlivable for decades and may cripple the world economy for years.I belive that's what people like Osama really want, and not some protracted war of attrition such as in Israel. And since the invasion of Iraq has made us more enemies than friends, it follows that we've made a catastrophic attack more likely.jf
