With temperatures above 40 for two days, the old Insight has turned in commutes of 71.2 MPG for the period. It always does better as the temperature rises. It's a shame this technology doesn't work (according to Detroit). If it did, maybe the Senate would have done something about our present CAFE standards, helped reduce the balance of payments deficit, and reduced funds flowing into nations with questionable polices toward our culture.

Have you noticed how our domestic manufacturers have attacked SUV and truck fuel consumption? It's very creative. We should be proud. They call their small cars trucks. It started with the PT Cruiser. This practice lowers their truck fleet fuel consumption numbers and lets them sell more big 'uns. One big 'un, one small 'un, one big 'un, one small 'un.
