Has anyone ever traveled as a courier? I have vacation for the first week of September and was thinking of flying somewhere (preferably London, but anywhere in Europe would be fine). I've done no planning at all, and don't want to spend a whole lot, so I was thinking of signing up as a courier or something. Is it worth my trouble, or should I just travel normally?

I was reading through some of the other messages posted here--I went to some of the sites to check out possible San Francisco/London fares. Leaving SFO on 9/3/01 and returning on 9/11/01, I came up with $588.00 on cheaptickets, $692.00 on travelocity, and $482.00 on these generally good prices, or can I do better?
