Al,

If you know for a fact that you will be leaving in 18 months and only 20% vested then go for a ROTH IRA taxed or regular IRA if you want pre-tax savings!

Figures are 25K/yr, your 5.5% = $1375 + 275 match(20% of 1375) = 1750

You can put $2k into the Roth or regular IRA and skip the hassles of a 414(h)(2).
