Your post concerns me but not for the reasons others have mentioned. First I am sure you were given more information on the overdraft than you stated, even though you may not realize it. This information is also generally periodically updated with your statement.

What really concerns me is that you were going to be charged a $10 fee for allowing the bank to make a transfer that you could have easily made yourself. You knew you were going to bounce a check, so why wait for the check to clear? As soon as you wrote the check you should have made an online transfer.

You made bad choices, didn't read all the fine print, and are sufferring from it. I know this sounds harsh but try to find someone who is going to give you a better deal.

On a positive not call the branch manager or customer service office I bet you will get some satisfaction if you explain the situation.

Sorry to sound so harsh but it isn't the banks fault that you are living on minimal income and not efficienlty managing it.
