FWIW, I buy either the Polly-o, the Sargento, or a store brand FULL FAT ricotta and the Sargento is fine. I imagine all the brands will taste bad (when used that way) if they are low fat/fat free. I buy davinci sugar free syrups to flavor my ricotta, and the only problem is that it is sooooooo good that I have to be careful not to eat too much! It does make an excellent loc carb dessert/snack, though.
