Also, Chris, my wife has lived a life that you have no background on. She has had numerous surgeries since her teenage years due to a genetic disease.

I had 4 major operations before I even became a teenager, and was diagnosed at 28 with heart disease as a complication from childhood treatments. Even so, I don't think that gives me a "right" to be late on medical payments, as when I see a doctor I sign the agreement on the forms that states I am ultimately responsible for any charges my insurance doesn't pay. And I do know what it's like to go uninsured.
