=alstro, not looking forward to shopping ourselves to health insurers at 65 with little vouchers and sizable pre-existing conditions, like most people our age...

______________

Funny, I'm not looking forward to having the government provide me with health coverage and having their accountants tell me I'm not worth the expense of treating or the risk. Plus I like the government's role now as advocate. When I'm fighting my insurance company, they help me. Who's going to be my advocate when the government is incharge?

As you stated with Social Security, I don't have any faith in the government controlling my health or finances. But it's safe no matter who's elected for anyone over 40. Nobody is proposing a change that will effect the over 40 crowd.
