Darn that bacon!

=alstro, had 1 strip meaty, smoky bacon, 2 small GF blueberry pancakes (from a dozen the hubster left for me after making a double batch yesterday), a cuppa joe w/half & half, and a glass of plain whole-milk kefir (with a smidge of agave to cut the sourness) for breakfast

This morning I indulged, as I do every few weeks. First I overslept about 20 minutes, which meant I didn't make myself breakfast at home before catching the train. Well actually I do that about once or twice a week, an then either go without breakfast or pick up some sort of egg-and-bagel sandwich on my way from the train to work.

But today I stopped at a diner, about the only place between the train and my job where you can sit down and have breakfast, and they serve up a plate of two eggs and FOUR slices of bacon and some potatoes. And trust me, the potatoes are the bad part. The bacon is just all good.

I figure, every few weeks I can do that.
