I'm not serious about the subject of this post. I'm sure there are others out there that own some of this stock.

What do you think? Is this stock going anywhere?

i have been trying to figure this one out. In this
region, they are just about the only show in town.
They now have I believe over 500 outlets and are talking abt one thousand.They recently doubled the size of their warehouse in Lakeland fla to over 600,000 sq ft.Business seems to be good and they bought out their
main compettor (Rose). Numbers are not that bad, but
the stock is going off the diving board. Who knws?
(By the way this is Central Florida - land of
rodents and ducks)

Do you think so much of their money is going into expansion that they will look very good when they stop expanding and just sell auto parts?

I'm thinking that this is all there is to it.

I hope I'm right because I bought stock in two other companies that have pretty good looking numbers but they're expanding so the stock prices are flat. Well, they were flat. One took an earnings hit last week and has gone down. But I think they'll both go up significantly when they quit trying to take over the world. :-)

As far as DAP's price going down recently I think it's just the September/October time of year causing so many stocks to go down right now. I'm not worried. After this correction has worn off it will go back up fairly soon I hope.

As far as DAP's price going down for the past few months, I don't know what is causing it. But it seems like there are lots of bargains out there among the non-high tech stocks. So I'm picking up a few and waiting until stocks with normal P/E's come back into fashion.

I went through a few numbers yesterday and calculated that one high tech is priced at a P/E somewhere around 2,000 or more. I can't believe the prices some of the high tech stocks are going for.

All stocks are going somewhere! I have some Checkers Restaurants that appears to be going down the sewer. However, I believe that DAP is going to go back up rather soon. Yes, they are expanding and I think in the next five to ten years we will see them well spread up and down the Atlantic seaboard and reaching inland.
