Amazon Web Services now in 300+ federal agencies

Amazon Web Services is seeing rapid growth in the U.S. public sector as more than 300 government agencies and 1,500 educational institutions are now using the company’s services.

AWS GovCloud now includes Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2), Amazon EC2 Cluster Compute instances, Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3), Amazon Elastic Block Store (Amazon EBS), Amazon Virtual Private Cloud (Amazon VPC), AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM), Elastic Load Balancing, Auto Scaling, Amazon Simple Notification Service (Amazon SNS), Amazon Simple Queue Service (Amazon SQS), Amazon CloudWatch and Amazon CloudWatch alarms.
