Amy,
Did you ever take an Art class? It was required when I was in college. Now, I didn't do to well because I have trouble memorizing. But, I can recognize a painting every once in a while. Like Monet's lilly pads and Van Gogh's 'swirls'.
My point? Artists have a recognizable style, unique to only them. Others can copy, but a person who specializes in these things can always find a forgery. Why? Because he 'knows' artists.
Now, I know God (as much as a human can) and I am not the least bit troubled by the fact that:

"evolution---must make new genes from old parts, E. Lander
or that "our genetic instructions have evolved from the same programs that guided the development of earlier animals"

because they have the same Creator!

Another Perspective,
Becky
