An easier program to use with photos and music is Fotomagico. It is not free, but is VERY easy to just drop your photos in, choose the music and save. then import it to iDVD, all done. If you have a lot of photos from a trip, I would suggest "chapters" on your DVD that way you can skip to pertinent countries of cities withour going through the whole thing.
