An important question is also, what do you want to DO on your trip? Are you someone who likes hiking and site seeing? Do you want the world's best restaurants or maybe see a sports event with thousands of other people live? Do you want to experience nightlife or are you a hotel-body? On the flipside, sometimes things you wouldn't have thought you'd like before can change perspective. I wasn't much of a nature person until I hiked around the bavarian alps in Garmisch-Partenkirchen in Germany. Don't forget to check out travel advisories at www.state.gov. Not everywhere is a safe place, so it's best to look over your shoulder at all times. Wherever you go, try not to make a schedule to pack in as many things as possible. Just work on getting there and doing whatever you feel like when the mood strikes you. Nothing worse than a vacation where you feel like you're under pressure to enjoy yourself. And most important, take lots of pictures and relax!
