I had an "interesting" event last week.
I got an envelope from my father with a letter from Chase addressed to ME at my Parent's address.
!!
Not only have I never resided using this last name at that address, but I have not even lived in Ohio since 1978. (Marriage, you know).

I promptly called the credit card & told them, they said it was on the credit report, and I spent some time (had to wait till office hours Friday!) getting signed up for a service to send me all my credit reports.

Unfortunately, I think the *only* reason this address could be on there is because 3 xmases ago I signed up for a local (ohio) merchant card to save 10% on mom's xmas present, and then when they never got my real address right, I told them to just send ads & whatnot to the parent's address. Apparently it is still floating around on my credit report. whatever!

I thought the card was cancelled but I think it might be on there twice.
Right!!
It will be cleared up.

joyce
