and Extended Market Index (small-cap).

This isn't right. Vanguard's Extended Market index covers everything in the US market not in the S & P 500 which is 2/3 mid-caps as I last recall.

I'd say look at International index funds(Ultra high risk would be emerging markets to minor risk in the Total or Developed markets one) or a REIT index fund(Single sector can be pretty risky, IMO) that should complement things and still provide some risk, although 100% equities would be considered extremely aggressive by most financial planners and the like.

Just my suggestions on the next level of research,
