And HOLY COW... I was wearing every type of feminine hygiene protection I could find... AT ONCE!

Yep, sounds familiar . . .

I know Alethea is on a lower dosage than I am (or I have that impression - I do 100mg a day - 50 in the morning and 50 at night), but I think as long as a person is taking the proper dosage for them it probably has a similar effect.

Alethea is on 50 and will be bumped down to 25. To us, it doesn't really make much sense why she is on Clomid, for two reasons. first, the anovulation in PCOS is caused by a suppression of the LH surge which erupts the follicle, and second if it is poly-cystic well then it looks like she makes follicles fine, thank you! It appears to us that the real key is the HCG shot that s(t)imulates the LH surge. It may be, however, that the Clomid is increasing the quality of the eggs. Once we get to the right dose, I don't see how it can hurt.

Incidentally my hunch is that we are going to have to go the IUI route but I'm optimistic about its success. To your descriptions posted earlier about cervical mucous her response was, I don't think I've ever had anything like that. Not a good sign but a potential diagnosis for which IUI is the obvious solution.
