and i'm certain that if you add up the hours they work in 10 months they're at least equivalent to the hours i work in 12.

i also know a number of teachers that spend their summers working in other jobs to make ends meet.

still, thanks for the thoughtful and informative reply. i might have to reconsider my opinion.



I dont think there is a need to reconsider, few feel they are paid enough nowdays.

But, in the 1950s, the average house being built was something like 900 (expandable cape)-1100 sf. Now its something like 2400 sf.

My wife has a two year old car, but I almost decked the guy at the autoparts store the other day when he said, "I dont show a listing in my catalog for something that old"

The damn car is 8 years old Chuck ... and it's 100% paid for, runs like a top, is cheap to insure .... What'chu talk'n bout "old"
