Thanks for your reply. Believe me I am fully aware that the debt is still there. My thinking was if I closed one of my savings and placed that money on the visa debt, I still will have one of my money market accounts as well as my profit sharing dollars and use my visa if necessary for emergencies only. I do pay extra on my debt at the credit union when possible. But once before when I asked the board about whether I should put all extra cash to the loan -- it was recommended that since the loan was at such a low rate and the fact that I would be finished in 2 1/2 years -- I should start my savings which I am trying to do. Please know that the debt that has accumulated on my visa was not done on frivous spending.
