AngelSpouse retired 3 years ago, approximately. For 1 and 1/2 of those years he had COBRA insurance. For the last 1 and 1/2 years he has had no insurance at all.

But, only 23 more days to go before he is covered by Medicare.
Until then I've got fingers crossed that he doesn't get into an accident or something else really stupid. :)


I've been without health insurance two times in my adult life. Well, three times if you count the month before coverage started on one job change. When I think back on it, we were lucky nothing major happened. About the only time I worried about it was the month before coverage started again. We didn't want anything to be preexisting.
