Ann,About 60% of he peolple share your view. The problem is that the 40% who are willing to boycott Disney (and other companies) are very determined in their view. The typical law abiding gun owner is middle of the road, conservative, family oriented(sounds like our target customer, doesn't it?). This group is very slow to take an activist position, but once they do, they are very resolute in their position. Without getting into a discussion of the merits of the arguments, many feel that the push of the antigunners has crossed the line, and they must defend their rights.Various organizations (NRA, JPFO, GOA) are doing an excellent job of keeping their membership informed as to who is supporting the antigun cause.Unfortunately, Disney is now on the radar screen. I think we need to get Disney OFF the radar screen, and to get the FAMILY back into Disney. To do this, we must extract Disney from this debate by removing those that would use the Disney name to push a political agenda that allienates the customer base.Don't forget, many other conservative groups are also boycotting Disney because they no longer trust the Disney name to mean "wholesome family oriented" entertainment: http://www.thestreet.com/_iwon/talk/emailtotheeditors/1070143.html?cf=WSIWON1111051500&alias=/ht/nwThat is why I so strongly urge everyone to vote WITHOLD on Eisner on their proxy.wes
