Boy, am I glad we don't actually OWN this Saab 9 5.

GM really must have done a number on this brand in the years they owned it.

For a few weeks, the engine light's been on; DH's company car, nothing I have the authority to mess with.

Eventually he had to deal with the problem when the yearly state-required safety inspection/emissions test was due.

Turns out the light was indicating some sort of issue with the emissions; a hose or tube of some kind had broken or was leaking and had to be replaced. (engine showed no symptoms tho.)

Yet another in the numerous and ridiculous issues this vehicle has had. Rubber body or engine bushing immediately fell off in our driveway upon delivery. Power steering unit failing last year, at about 18,000 miles. Now three years old, 30,000 miles, this hose thing.
Rear plastic license plate facia on trunk lid constantly loose because the wimpy plastic threaded stud has been stripped by the crappy nut that's been repeatedly reinstalled when it falls out.

Thankful for the blessing of a company vehicle, very glad we don't own this thing.
