another machine, a Ms. PacMan. It was also a game-within-a-game, it's been almost ten years, but I remember you had a lighted playfield, and on scoring a certain combination the main playfield went dead and the flipper buttons controlled a PacMan type lighting field.

Perhaps you mean Baby Pacman?

You started off on the CRT, using a joystick to maneuver Baby Pacman around the maze (which had no power pellets).

When things get too hot you head for the exit tunnel, and that starts the pinball game (controlled by flipper buttons).

If you accomplished certain tasks it would finally give you the elusive power pellet. If you drained you'd go back to the maze as it was (but no more exit tunnel).

How many times did I die because I didn't switch between the joystick and the flipper buttons fast enough.
