DW and I file jointly. We had to file for an extension, and now the tax is due by August 15 (which, this year, I suppose will mean that we have to have the return postmarked by Monday the 16th). I really wanted to finish the taxes by this new deadline, but just yesterday DW--who has to deal with most of the more complicated parts of the return--says we might need more time. I believe it is possible to get another extension. But what's the procedure? What publication should I read? TIA
