Hi everyone,

I read through the related post from some months ago, and thanks to all for useful info and comments. I've been in Japan for 11 years, now in Nagoya. I finally recently started investing, having opened a US-based account through Zecco.

A few questions, if people may be able to help:

Am I correct to assume that I will be taxed twice in full on all capital gains (by US and Japan)?

I'm interested in trading through E-Trade Japan: Can anyone recommend any web sites that could help me in choosing Japanese stocks (preferably info in English)?

Has anyone had any luck locating an online Japan broker with pages in English?

And finally: Does anyone know of any investing clubs either in Nagoya or online for expats here? (Or, anyone interested in creating one? :-).

Sorry for all the questions, and I'll try to share my own info along the way here over time... Thanks in advance!
