Any thoughts on good long term investments in publicly traded companies in the renewable energy area?

Hmm, I hang out here because I like the concept of Renewable Energy but I think there is more money to be made elsewhere. Right now I think over the next 10 years or so there is a ton to be made investing in Oil related stocks with proven reserver because it is a non-renewable source of energy. Prices of oil will only continue to go up over the next 10+ years and the value of companies with big reserves in the ground will skyrocket. Another great investment is in companies that are able to boost oil well production for existing wells. Some of these technologies allow oil companies to pull 50-100% more oil out of the same well.
