I had never heard of delhaize and went looking. They appear to be in the same areana as Ahold out of the Netherlands and their last quarterly numbers looked pretty decent. Most of the stocks I hold in my portfolio or follow are not covered by the fools so it is interesting to chat with others who are introduced to the international stocks and not the ADRs.

Some additional holdings I have or follow are ING, Aegon and Solarworld. I see the Euro going up against the dollar caused by inflationary issues and high oil prices. I know the European markets will react negatively and be impacted in some way, but do you believe these issues will have a large impact on the European markets or just slow them down? I believe the oil prices will rise again when the cold weather starts in the states. Any comments?
