I have a set of home-brew scripts that I use to get stock prices, do accounts, track investments, etc. They worked great until all the online services shut down their APIs for stock prices. Does anyone know of a way for a program to get machine-readable current and historical prices? Clearly this exists, as there is lots of commercial financial software. Delayed quotes are fine, and I do about 20 requests at a time, once or twice a month, so not high traffic or anything. I used to use ystockquote, but that and several other packages stopped working last Fall.

I am willing to pay for a subscription, if it's not too much.

Thanks,

I still use Yahoo with my add-in, but alternatives I've briefly looked at:

Requires an API key, but it's free. You just need to register. The "demo" API key works with MSFT, so you can try out their examples.
