Apology accepted, pauleckler. An altogether understandable mistake on your part considering the gender-neutrality of my on-line moniker. Another question, though, for you or anyone who cares to reply....Given the recent volatility of most of the growth-type funds, and continuing uncertainty as to their ability to perform well, does anyone have any feelings, ideas, comments, etc. on the advisability of investing in REITs? I seem to be hearing more and more professional advisors touting these as good places to have your money in times of volatility.I also know that one shouldn't "chase performance", and while my husband and I are definitely "buy and hold" type investors, I'm fretting that we have over-invested in technology-loaded funds. I can feel my Scottish ancestors turning over in their graves every time I look at my accounts and see the steady outward seepage of cashflow.Thanksthanks
