Are you drinking pure grain alcohol again?

Grain isn't pure. It's 95% ethanol, and 5% water (so yes, a solution). There are some liquid mixtures (called azeotropes) that lower the boiling point of the pure substance, and thus can not be fully purified by distillation of extracts. Pure (neat) ethanol like used in a chemistry lab contains traces of things like Benzene.

But to answer the question, no. I made a heck of a grain punch in my fraternity days, but ... no reason to revisit those days.
