If I had $80,000 a year to spend I could eat lobster every day, buy a new boat, take trips to Europe, take a couple of cruises every year, and drive a new car every three years, etc.

Probably not. See post #4973 for some examples of people who didn't realize that just because it's more money than you've ever seen before, doesn't mean it's an infinite amount of money.

I bet I could! Cause I would eat lobsters from Kroger's seafood, buy a Bass Tracker 17 ft fishing boat, and take CHEAP trips to Europe, and still drive Toyota Corolla's! Cause I am the CHEAPEST most FRUGAL person I know! My wife told me that most women would not put up with me. I have never made much money (and I am talking LOW wages) and I still was able to save, invest, and retire early at the age of 46. I live on chicken leg quarters (bought only on SALE!) and big bags of rice from Sam's Club.
