Art, Medicare Part B is NOT supplemental insurance.
Supplemental insurance is something else altogether.
Read my post again - it explains what part A and part B are.
Supplemental insurance covers what they do not pay. You can buy supplemental insurance if you like, but you don't have to.

The part D drug coverage is limited to what your state allows.
You can choose from all that are available to you - many different price ranges, many different deductibles (no no deductible at all), many different lists of drugs offered. You choose among those available to you that offer the drugs you need at the price you can, or are willing to, pay.

You can pay for the drugs with a coupon book and a check if you like. Or you can have the premium automatically deducted from your SS check - yes, before it is deposited into your account. SS knows what comes out of it, trust me.
