As a relatively new fool, I commend the Fool and its employees for this disclosure policy. It inspires and inceases my confidence in the Fool.
As someone who's worked in politics, I greatly value a politician or non-profit organization disclosing their funding sources as they participate in the public debate.
Also, strategically down the line, the Fool's disclosure policy is likely to be a competitive advantage for the company as big self-interest scandals break about other players in the investing industry.
Finally, the policy will increase your credibility as you lobby the SEC and others for reforms to protect investors.
Keep up the good work.
