As always, my question is what is the waste and where does it go? Uh, the waste is a bunch of radioactive highly deadly material? However, there are new reactor designs on the horizon that have no to very little waste. They are called pebble bed reactors, and I suspect over the next ten to twenty years this technology will become more mature. Reactor technology today is MUCH better than it was when we built up the current fleet of nuclear reactors currently in operation.I don't think the right question is IF, but when. I think we can delay a while longer waiting for the next generation technology... then we need to deploy it in a big way.--Alan
